Men can get pregnant ‘tomorrow’, says fertility professor

In case you never thought it possible, well a leading fertility professors says men could get pregnant as early as ‘tomorrow’.

This is thanks to advances in womb transplantation.

Dr Richard Paulson, outgoing president of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine says that the success of womb transplants for women mean the option could become available for men.

With gender reassignment surgery now common Dr Paulson said there was no anatomical reason why this was not possible ‘tomorrow:

There would be additional challenges, but I don’t see any obvious problem that would preclude it … I personally suspect there are going to be trans women who are going to want to have a uterus and will likely get the transplant.

The birth would have to take place by cesarean section so the birth would be different but putting the womb in is not out of the question in spire of different pelvises.

Controversial Sweden based gay activist Tatenda ‘Tatelicious’ Karigambe recently revealed she was pregnant and expecting a child with her partner Richard Sandberg via  a Facebook live video.

What do you think of this option?
