#Covid19Zim: More Harare deaths as it records no new cases again

Harare recorded seven new deaths on Thursday but at the same time, it had no new cases for the second day in a row, according the latest situation report from Ministry of Health and Child Care on Thursday 27 August 2020.

Altogether there were 10 deaths (Bulawayo, Mashonaland Central and Midlands with one each) on reported on the day as the total went up to 189.

41 new cases were recorded overall, 38 of the local and the rest returnees from South Africa.

With nine new recoveries, the total number of active cases went to 1097.

As at 27 August 2020, Zimbabwe had 6 292 confirmed cases, including 5 010 recoveries and 189 deaths.
