Angolan Carnival to distribute 500,000 condoms

Now check this. An Angolan Carnival is pulling out some crazy stops as it pushes for all sorts of entertainment at its current edition.

And that includes a whooping half a million condoms ready for use according to reports coming from that country.

10 teams have been sent out onto the streets to distribute leaflets and hand out condoms in the fight against HIV and Aids.

Add to that, 5,000 HIV test kits. It’s busy.

The carnival is in the capital City, Luanda. Carnivals are often associated with risky behaviour as a party atmosphere lends to the perfect cauldron for all sorts of messy stuff to happen. We reckon some of our friends will be looking for the first flight to take part in the four-day festival.
