Zimbabwe’s life expectancy has been on the rise over the last few years following the improvement of health delivery service.
Latest statistics see Zimbabwe’s life expectancy up to 50 for men and 47 for women. It was 59.2 at independence in 1980 and had dropped to a miserable 37 six years ago. The global average is a distant 69.2 years.
We think it’s good news and with continued improvement in service, barring someone going barking mad, we should expect further rises.
