Zimbabwe Level 2 Lockdown: Here is what you need to know

Zimbabwe’s president Emmerson Mnangagwa announced an extension of a partial lockdown and here is what affects you in general.

Here are the quick ones you need to know

  • All people must wear masks.
  • Reopening of industry means all employees must undergo mandatory testing, wear masks, and sanitization.
  • Working hours from 8-3
  • Informal sectors remain closed except for agriculture and food sector.
  • Public transport only, no kombis or taxis. Bu
  • Passengers must wear masks, sanitized upon boarding buses, social distancing maintained. Temperatures will be taking
  • compliance will be regulated and those who fail will be closed
  • Returning residents and international travellers will have to do engage in full quarantine with full testing on day 1, 8 and 21.
  • Schools, Churches, bars, gyms remain closed
  • Gatherings of less than 50 are to be maintained.
  • Online learning may be enhanced
