Three Men on a Boat 
Last week a French judge charged Congolese music star Koffi Olomide with three counts of rape and illegal confinement after complaints from three of his former backup dancers.
A former dancer had filed a complaint in 2006 and that two years later two more dancers followed suit. One of the plaintiffs was a minor at the time of the alleged sexual assaults.
Koffi is a married man and is known for travelling with his wife wherever he goes to perform. We commend Koffi for tagging his wife along in fact the few times he came to perform in Zimbabwe she faithfully stood by his side.
We are not saying Koffi is guilty but we also know the line between work and pleasure in show- business can become rather blurred, especially when young girls are gyrating in front of you night in night out.
What goes on between Koffi and his dancing girls after those Rumba shows has always been the speculation of many men.
We wonder if everything was above board, why does he makes an effort to travel with the Mrs. all the time?
Koffi did not wait for a French ruling on whether he should be held without bail, we are not really surprised by this.
