Dogs recognise human emotions – geeks

Dogs can pick human emotions and read feelings, scientists have said.

Researchers from universities in Lincoln and Sao Paolo said dogs have use abstract mental representations of both negative and positive emotion.

When they played sounds or showed pictures  to the dogs they showed specific reactions. It wasn’t just noting facial indicators and actually use emotional perception.

It was not just recognition. It was emotional recognition.

So next time you say something to Bhoki or Bingo, the reaction is, the dog knows your feelings.
