Zambezi Movie Resumes Production

Marc Mandisoul’s  Zambezi movie has resumed production a year after it had been suspended.

Director and producer Mandisoul faced financial constraints leading to suspension of the project.

Post production and shoots of the remaining seven scenes is now being undertaken in Harare with the soundtrack also in production including international acts NYLA and NYANDA of Brick & lace who have already recorded music for this collaborative album which will also include French Montana, Buffalo Souljah, Cleo Ice Queen from Zambia and local rapper Miss V  Candy amongst others.

Other local artists who have been targeted for the soundtrack are Amara Brown and Roki, whom Mandisoul says he approached to do the main theme song as a collaboration as he seeks an ethnic but urban sound for this piece.

ZAMBEZI is probably the biggest project undertaken in Zimbabwe in terms of the number of media houses that came together for this epic african adventure flick and the credit list reads like a who is who of contemporary Zim film industry, GMC PICTURE UK, PHENOM MEDIA [Brighton Tazarurwa], DECENT ARTHOUSE[ Joe Njagu & Rufaro Kaseke] , SHAMAIKA BRAND and MIGHTY MOVIES all took part in this production helmed by Marc Mandisoul’s MTM GLOBAL ENTERTAINMENT,  the film branch of ENTERTAINMENT AFRIKA.

Written , Produced and Directed by Mandisoul with Executive Producers Susan Makore, Lorraine Fox and support from Honourable Deputy Minister Supa Mandiwanzira, Zambezi is a story about the search for ancient Munhumutapa treasure in modern day Zimbabwe, shot on location in Zimbabwe, UK and DUBAI. It stars LORRAINE FOX, ELROY CHATSANGA, NGONI VERE, NAMA AWARD WINNER NOTHANDO NOBENGULA, DALMA CHIWEREWA and ANTONY TONGANI with a special appearance by EDDIE SANDIFOLO.
