Zaangoma To Host Hip Hop Party

Recently launched hip hop show Zaangoma has been making
significant progress since the release of its debut episode in March this year.

The show’s producers have shown positive intent by hosting renowned local hip hop acts like Munetsi, Shingirayi formerly known as Mau Mau as well as Begottensun amongst others in just
two episodes.The same people who bring Zaangoma to us have came up with a brilliant idea to host an A-list hip hop party ,something which the local event organizers have been starving us for a very long time.

The party is billed to be held at the upmarket Roof top , Travel Plaza, situated at Cnr Mazoe and chinamano, Avenues . Zaangoma creative director, Quinton Mutsinze known to many as Dir Quence said,

Zimbabweans are being promised an international stage,electrifying Dj and music performances from Zyon Black ,Dj krimmz Beatz ,Dj Chucknosis ,Yagi Dojo, , and a few more artists we may add to the roster.

This party is meant to celebrate a number of contemporary
music genres found in our locality ,the likes of Zim Hip hop,EDM,Zim RnB ,Progressive house and African electro as well as ZimPop (although hip hop will be the dominant genre on the
day). The party scheduled for the 26th of June is one of the many to come as the plan for the Zaangoma party is to hold them on monthly intervals.

Among the expected guests at this party are prominent figures like internationally acclaimed Zimbabwean singer and producer Audius Mtawarira, prolific visual artist and animator Nqobizitha “Enqore” Mlilo as well as the well traveled Disk Jockey and Producer Take Five.

According to the hosts , guests are supposed to come looking their elegant best . These Zaangoma parties will be themed according to tribal concepts that the organizers may deem fit taking a number of aspects into consideration. The theme for the maiden party is Vengoma .

The television show Zaangoma etymologically shares “ngoma” with the theme of the party. Zaangoma meaning Zvipo Zvekuridza whilst Vengoma refers to celebrating those with the ability to create. To celebrate those with the ability to create the organizers are putting together the best stage Harare revelers and socialites have ever witnessed.

Mutsinze adds:

The stage will be of international standards with digital lighting and sound”.

The only entity which has managed to maintain this standard of stage setup is HIFA and Zaangoma is confident that they will also b
counted among the best.

To gain access to this party one has to buy tickets which are going for $5 each. These tickets will be sold at Avo Apparel Keanne Mall as well as Insignia Book store , Joina City.
