With new dates, Vic Falls Carnival is already looking delicious

The Victoria Falls Carnival announced that it was moving away from its traditional New Years’ Eve dates.

The new dates are 29 April to 1 May 2022. Basically that sweet spot formerly known as Hifa or the Trade Fair in Bulawayo.

The dates do look brave because or government folk are already twiddling their thumbs and making hushed noises about a fourth wave of the ‘Rona. So if there is a lockdown, it could mean end of April could be decapitated, unless Mr Government decides to go the Austrian way, where lockdowns only affect the unvaccinated.

The new date does make some sense though. That vacant space happens when the Victoria Falls itself is buzzing. And it it creates a fun season for the area.

With that out of the way, Sha Sha, The Scorpion Kings (Dj Maphorisa and Kabza De Small), Master KG, Gemma Griffiths, Nutty O, King Her, DJ Colastraw, DJ La Timmy and Khoisan have been announced. So you have a nice mix of South African, Zimbabwean and Botswanan artists.

Now if you ask us, that smells delicious and we are sure it will taste as good. And this is just the first phase.
