Why we’re super-excited about Jah Cure coming in April

So as many of you will know, reggae star jah Cure will be in Zimbabwe this April.

And we are super-excited.

It is not because, like Busy Signal, he comes with loads of singles that we already know. That’s not it but it helps.

We are getting the genuine king of lovers rock and roots reggae. He is a consummate artist whose sound transcends those faithful to the genre. He produces the kind of music that makes you dream and wonder what love can be like, in its basic form without the distractions of a world that presents it as a commodity.

Then there is a his story. Here was a rising star, who was convicted of a crime and went to prison. Most people fall off after that but he came back, with more love, more energy and more beauty.
