Rising star Tamy has dropped the first video from her debut  The 18th Rollercoaster.

It is for the track Ndibereke. Directing for this video was by Nico Abote.

They got a lot of the choreography for Tamy correct. It is a sprightly colourful video with beautiful interpretive dance for the most part. There was also a good a mount of work put into her wardrobe something oft-ignored in music videos.

What we did find a bit disappointing was the deadpan face she kept for most of the video tight shots. There is little expression meaning what she is saying and the face she keeps has a bit of a disconnect. Also after the fourth minute, bar the guitar solos the video does not give you much.

The elements of abuse of girls could have been more than a hint.

For  first effort it is great and what she will not have gotten right on this can be worked on. That said, what she got right she got it proper right.
