Afrima-award winning artist Cindy Munyavi brought more than a going from her triumphant visit to Nigeria.
She has a new song called L.O.V.E. You co-written written and produced by Nigeria’s ObieChina.
It is straight up afro-beats and a big departure from the sound we have gotten used to with Cindy. It is a generic Nigerian dance song. It will get her played more in the clubs in Zimbabwe though, assuming they are brave enough to play Zimbabwean music.
About the video, it is top quality stuff in terms of production, There isn’t much of a story (the white couple feel a little disconnected) but it is visually appealing. That feel alone will see it find space on satellite channels. Without a strong storyline there is no hook to keep you which is a shame.
