Unplugged announces partnership with Coca-Cola

Popular monthly event Unplugged has announced a partnership with Coca-Cola for the rest of the year.

The event will now be called Unplugged presented by Coca-Cola.

One of the founders Chiedza Danha in speaking to 3-mob.com said:

As founders and organizers this represents a validation of our belief in what we do and the hard work we’ve put in. We’re thrilled because what this allows us to do is put money into enhancing the experience at the event. We’ve been running for three and half years now and we’ve dreamed up a plethora of ideas to take the event to the next level. We can now also embark on our Artist Development Programme which is central to how we want to grow as an organisation.

She added that relationship with Coke made sense:

Coke is the perfect partner for us. They are genuinely invested in developing talent. This is evidenced by their work with Coke Studio and their long history of supporting arts and culture in Zimbabwe and beyond.

The next edition is on Sunday 28 May 2017 at Umwinzii in Umwinsdale. It will feature Prince Musarurwa, Rue, Pah Chihera and The Circuit. Resident DJs Reverb7 and TK Beatz will be on decks.
