Bulawayo play UMbiko KaMadlenya has thrown down the gauntlet at 2015 National Arts merits Award after winning all 4 awards in the theatre section.
The Mayford Sibanda novel adaptation took the awards for outstanding actress(Bathabile Dlamini), outstanding actor (Memory Kumbota), best director (Nelson Mapako) and outstanding theatrical production.
We are happy for Bulawayo. Great work, great culture.
The awards are being held at 7 Arts in Harare and a total of 35 awards will be handed it at the end of the night.
