When it comes to musicians, are you a fan or a hardcore stan? Wondering what the difference is? While fans buy their favourite artists’ albums and play them on a loop for at least three months, stans (a combination of stalker and fan) buy ten albums and all singles to hand out to friends ,family and anyone who smiles at them.Got it?Good!

If you squeal, feel faint or get teary at the mere mention of your favourite artist’s name you could be in danger of fangirling or fanboying. The voices of fangirls or boys are known to  get extremely high-pitched whenever discussing the latest news involving the object of their devotion.

Ammara Brown Fans: Ammartians

The Queen of pop recently coined the name for her followers and it’s as cute as the singer herself.

Jah Prayzah Fans: Masoja

There  might be innumerable battalions and regiments in Zimbabwe right now  ,ie Sniper’s, but Jah Prayzah possesses the most ruthless of the lot. He has even started another regiment called the Military Touch Movement with young and fierce  centurions that such as Andy Muridzo, Exq and Nutty O.

Winky D Fans: Magafa

Before this name they were called MaNinja, however the term seems to be loosing it’s edge to Magafa. They are so loyal that whenever an  international artist come to perfom alongside their president, they always makes sure that he/she  don’t mess it up or he gets canned.

Tehn Diamond Fans: Tisu Ngoda Dzacho

The shining diamonds were the first group to kick off the fandom nickname trend.It’s made up of cool guys who enjoys cool conceptual music.Check out how many people are using the #afgp right now.

Stunner Fans: Mashark

This group comprises of   ay one Desmond Chideme fans. They helped him rise to fame  and are one of the most loyal fan bases out there, famously showing support for their idol when he is in trouble.They usually  slam down  people who say the rapper is not “hip hop” and always wins. And they vote for him in the people’s choice segment at the Zim Hip Hop Awards.

Killer T Fans: Hot Property

They might not be as smart as other fandoms, but one thing is for certain: they share his  music on WhatsApp and  overplay until everyone sings along to it, even if it’s not up to par.

ExQ Fans: Masalad

ExQ may not be you regular heart-throb but he is cute and makes awesome music -which explains why fans wait with bated breath for him to release new music, photos or, well, just about anything. They are smart, lovely and always treat everyone respectfully.

Freeman Fans: HKD

This group is made up of all age groups: smart kids, swaggy youths who love partying and elderly people who advocate for serenity and morality. They don’t play all of his tracks, but they make sure the ones they plays are hits.

Schingy Fans: TeamBhoo

Young and restless youths who loves drama and house partying. All their posts are flashy and bigger than life.

Jnr Brown Fans: Team Breezy

There are plenty of these guys and they have stuck with their rapper. Last year set a record when they bought 5000+ digital copies of the single Tongogara via WhatsApp. They talk about how other rappers’ albums are trashy, but will never ask their idol for one. They believe in hustling and getting high.

Asaph Fans: Burg Boys

They are a problem,  so they say. They are tough and will do almost anything to see their leader winning.

Seh Calaz Fans: Mabhanditi

The most well-uniformed fandom. They don swaggified overalls and celebrate life of banditry. Most of them are smart and cool. Most, not all.
