Stephen Chifunyise’s new play The Past Is For The Future is set to go on tour soon.
The announcement was made by Rooftop Productions after a run at the Old Mutual Theatre at Alliance Francaise.
In the announcement Rooftop said:
The first performance will be staged at Murehwa High School and St Pauls Musami on Saturday 11th July 2015 and many other venues on Sunday in Mashonaland East province.
The production will come to Chitungwiza on Monday 13th 2015 and will be staged at Seke High 1 School.
Of the selected school, students will come and watch the play for free.

Rooftop Promotions Producer Daves Guzha who is also the Production Adviser said that the play will tour various places in all provinces and will be stage at some selected venues.
As we all know that this play has full of emotions that can trigger what may have happened in the past, we need first to get some consultation with various stakeholders if it can be staged at venues such as orphanages.
We are also appealing to those who may have watched the play in Harare and feel it should be staged in their community to approach us and we will definitely make arrangements to take it there so that no one is left out during this tour.
The two cast production features Eunice Tava (who also directed the play and newbie Lisa Gutu.
