In what is a series called Book Cafe ‘pop-up’ parties it will see the the ‘vibe’ return to the Zimbabwe entertainment calendar.

The first will be at the Ambassador Hotel on 7 November and will feature trailblazers Mokoomba and fast-rising trio Jam Signal.

The parties will run into early 2016 as the hub looks for a new home while it re-imagines its next reincarnation.

After moving from Fife Avenue at the end of 2011 it spent time on the corner of Samora Machel Ave and 6th Street before closing that chapter on the first of June this year.

Tomas Brickhill at that time vowed to make sure that the dream set up by his late father Paul would never die is now workingb to make sure he lives up to that promise.

We will be there, obviously.
