Symbiz Sound from Germany will perform at Shoko Festival on Friday the 25th of September at the Zimbabwe Museum of Human Sciences.
On the 26th of September at the peace in the hood concert in Chitungwiza at the community hall grounds, Symbiz will collaborate with dancehall star Guspy Warrior.
Symbiz are a three- piece bass band from Berlin. Founded by the two German-Korean brothers Chris and Buddysim and completed by vocalist Zhi MC, Symbiz. They produce a versatile, bass-heavy sound, embracing different styles of global club music. Their live shows which can be described as a rave-commando-unit with vocals, guitar and self-made controllers are infamous all around the globe.
Influenced by their early interest in Reggae and Hip-Hop, their sound is preceded from Dub-step inspired productions to a versatile, dance-floor oriented, new style – sometimes labeled as ‘Future Dancehall’. They have produced songs for leading international artists such as Vybez Kartel. At Shoko Festival in 2013, Symbiz did collaborations with Dadza D, N.T.M and Pauline this year Symbiz collaborates with Guspy Warrior the ‘Seunononga’ hit-maker will perform on September 26th in Chitungwiza.
Shoko Festival is set to run from the 24th to the 26th September 2015 and is Zimbabwe’s biggest festival of urban culture. This year’s line-up features international acts such as Cassper Nyovest, Blak Twang, Bucie, Tol A$$ Mo & Silvastone. Symbiz Sound is brought to you by The Zimbabwe German Society.
