Studio 263 actress Charmaine Mangwende dies

Charmaine Mangwende, best known as Amai Huni in the popular local soap opera Studio 263 has died.

Mangwende was a key character in the show which broadcast for years on ZBC.

She also had a passion for music having worked with Transit Crew and the legendary Pied Pipers. Mangwende penned the song Pafunge for the latter while still with the band.

A dark and sad day for the Zimbabwe arts industry.
