DJ Stavo has taken African legend Oliver Mtukudzi to the club.
Not literally but you know the feeling. He has produced a new single called Mwedzi Muchena.
The track is awesome because well Tuku is on it and it is a different space. It will be a summer hit for sure and if Stavo is clever in this track will make some moves in the region. We’re glad to see Tuku do this and we’re keen to see him do more house tracks with the legend on it. Yes he goes tribal.
The only thing is, well the beat feels a little repetitive and isn’t quite as full as it could have been. While the track remains enjoyable, that bit kinda leaves you feeling a bit cheated in terms of what more could have been done with the song.
Still. You know people will love it. Well we have had it on as much repeat as Trevor Dongo on a Miss Zimbabwe stage.
