So a rumour went really wild on social media yesterday claiming that award-winning Zimbabwean musician Jah Prayzah.
It was the usual circumstances – Winky D gets one of these every other month – road accident.
What is incredible is how quickly it gathered pace and up to this Sunday morning we have been receiving calls, Whatsapp message and emails asking after this.
It does say one thing though. People do not listen to the mainstream for news which is a bit sad because we would like to think that a story of that nature would break regular programming – would it? – or at least be on the news every hour or so. DJ’s would catch all sorts of feelings and you wouldn’t need a friend on social media to tell you what had happened.
He is alive and well by the way.
