SHORT FILM: The Thought That Counts [watch inside]

Nigel Ndlovu is back with another short film in a contribution to Zimbabwe’s visual industry.

The Thought That Counts tackles issues of depression in a very direct and poignant feel.

Simbarashe Michael Potera’s performance is convincing with a soundtrack that lends a level of tragedy to it.

The blurb reads:

Most people are suffering from #Depression as a direct result of #COVID19. #MentalHealth is critical. The Thought That Counts is a short story of a young man who is seemingly unable to cope with the many pressures around him, until somebody shows kindness to him. Be that someone! Written & Directed By Nigel Ndlovu, Produced By Bukhosibenkosi H Moyo. Sound & Music By Music Bed; VHS – Super Duper; Run-It-Up-King-Flex; Flares-Roary
