Shoko Festival has released the theme for this years’s festival.
And it is… Come Alive.
Said Samm Farai Monro the festival director:
We’ve gone with the theme come alive this year because Zimbabwe is going through a challenging time and so, this year, we’re calling on Zimbabweans to come alive, to come through to the festival and get inspired and stand up and be part of a great festival experience.
We think that it is a great way to bring Zimbabweans together in these tough times with comedy, music, spoken and really really great vibes; to bring everyone together into one space that can help motivate and make everyone happy, put a smile on their face.
Shoko Festival runs from September 23 to 25 at the National Museum with the final day in Chitungwiza.
