In what is an interesting development, singer Shashl is set to drop the rape allegations against her ex-boyfriend, music producer Tafadzwa ‘Levels’ Kadzimwe.
This has emerged after Levels appeared in court on the data protection act charges, which relate to the leaking of a sextape in which both were involved. She accuses him of leaking the tape, while he says his phone was stolen.

The rape allegations have now been sent back to the police, where indications are that the charges will be dropped, based on conditions to be agreed.
What those conditions are has not been revealed.
Our educated guess could suggest that back channels were opened while Levels was missing, after which an agreement was made.
Levels handed himself into the police custody on Monday evening.
He is out on ZWL20,000 bail. He will be back in court on 20 December 2020.
