SA Musician Jub Jub Found Guilty Of Murder

South African rapper Molemo “Jub Jub” Maarohanye and Themba Tshabalala have been found guilty of four counts of murder and two counts of attempted murder.

Maarohanye and Tshabalala were allegedly drag-racing in Protea North in March 8, 2010 when they crashed into a group of schoolchildren. Prince Mohube, Mlungisi Cwayi, Andile Mthombeni, and Phomello Masemola, were killed. Frank Mlambo and Fumani Mushwana were seriously injured.

Experts say the two face a minimum of 15 years in jail now.

The saddest part of this verdict is that no matter what the sentence will be, those kids are gone, forever all because of a two young men who did not feel the rules applied to them. An accident can happen to anyone but when you throw narcotics and the lot into the equation then the problem is more complex.

Very little comfort for the families of the dead kids though…
