The showcase is renamed the Lexus SA Menswear Week in a move that Simon Deiner, SAMW founder, and creative director says aligns the platform with a brand that are leaders in the Art of Craftsmanship, luxury, and perfection.

This is a perfect sponsorship and partnership match. Lexus shares all the same values as the SA Menswear Week platform such as the focus on craftsmanship, luxury, and creating the best experience for our designers and guests.Their approach of Experience Amazing sums up everything about our platform, and we look forward to their involvement helping us elevate the designers, and continue to be the most innovative fashion platform

Lexus South Africa’s General Manager of Marketing Communications Kerry Roodt:

Lexus South Africa is both proud and honoured to be associated with South African Menswear Week (SAMW) – an event that showcases the best designers from across the continent. Lexus is a brand that is globally associated with style, trends and innovation, and we hope that the event will evoke positive emotions when SAMW meets Lexus’s Experience Amazing

Lexus South African Menswear Week has moved to The Palms in Woodstock, which many consider the hub of regeneration in the area. The exciting space will house everything guests have come to expect from SA Menswear Week, and with an increase in seating and larger dedicated hosting areas, there’s something for everyone. The surrounds of Woodstock allow for a pre-party of the day at Corner Store (103 Sir Lowry Rd), two blocks down, and then all guests can walk back to the show spaces to enjoy the first show of the night. It’s all about exploring the parts of Cape Town that inspire designers and creativity.

Zimbabwe’s Taf The Taylor is back at SAMW’s fifth edition having been part of the platform since its founding.

We will be providing coverage throughout the event.
