As expected, Black Panther 2 has been confirmed with Ryan Coogler to write and direct the sequel.
Marvel had kept the creative team under wraps but it is done.
The first one centred around Chadwick Bosman’s titular Black Panther/ T’Challa, the leader of Wakanda, picked up critical acclaim, awards discussion this fall and $1.3 billion in worldwide ticket sales.
The script is expected in 2019 with production towards the end of the year or 2020.
We expect Danai Gurira (Okoye), Lupita Nyong’o (Nakia), Letitia Wright (Shuri), Winston Duke (M’Baku) and Daniel Kaluuya (W’Kabi) to return.
