Zimbabwe’s indie star Gemma Griffiths dropped a new single, My Town, a prelude to an EP this past weekend at a majorly subscribed event in Harare.
We will be dropping the interview we had with her in a wee bit but the video for the single is already out.
The visuals are an intimate connection of Gemma to her emotions along with a second character in existential presentation. In this instance, loss. For the most part the camera acts as a fourth wall between us and her but we still get the essence of performance and awareness.
And obviously of the character meandering through boundless emotions attached to the physical spaces.
