This is growth, Mr Rebel.
The notes do stray a bit but the music feels like we are getting some of that good good from Mr Rebel.
Maybe it helps having the mind-numbingly Vera on the song Kure which then pushes your game up. Except, Vera raps. Yeah she does and quite alright at it for that. We know her mainly for her soulful appeal and she has bags of it.
The production has some nicely stripped down sections and some forceful melodies intertwined into it. It isn’t really Instagram on steriods but it is a good look.
You can see the inspiration fro some of his music because it does come from a certain period but he does step out and try to access the rapper who sings a bit appeal for the last ten years and more self-evident now.
