QUICK SONG REVIEW: KidLocco – TurnupNyana

It is not often that you get a Zim hip hop track that is easy listening.

A lot of what we get is meant to be a banger and missing are those tracks you can lean back to.

KidLocco’s TurnupNyana has a classic 90s Rnb influence, the  pipes and strings, the production gets right.

The message is softer, maybe because of the autotune feel but sits in the parochial spaces that we define as  Zim hip hop.

We like TurnupNyana cause you can drive to it or a slip one to the missus and not have her feel like she just had a party that went out of turn with a baboon.
