Page Poetry Alive has announced a TV Game it calls the Cre8ive Challenge Show.
The blurb for the show goes:
Cre8ive Challenge Show is a reality TV Game show blending works of literature, digital skills, film and diverse collaborative art. It involves 3 teams of Artists competing and tackling challenges in real time to create work online and in person whilst being filmed in front of a live audience. The leadership training, community building and explorative work competition engages the Creative Arts for climate action. This audio-visual game show has 3 segments involving skills training and 2 elimination rounds. Artists will co-create interactive artworks tell stories, and capture languages as part of this experimental and innovative project for climate action which will be flighted on the Page Poetry Alive (PPA) website, YouTube Channel and Across PPA social media Pages.
Artists are taken through 3 phases in the 2 months the project will run.
This program is supported by The British Council Cultural Economy Programme, which supports cultural Organisations, festivals, artists and creatives between the countries SSA* and the UK to create art, build networks, collaborate and develop markets and share artists work with audiences.
This project is funded through the Scripts and Bars project.
Page Poetry Alive (PPA) is a poetry collective that nurtures storytellers from Page Poets to Spoken Word artists with a focus on Youth Development and explorative work.
