Former Big Brother Hotshots housemate came out in Zimbabwean tabloid H-Metro this past week talking about the hard times he is going through.
He talked about being broke, dejected and sleeping on the streets.
Now first off, we were like, JJ, why? Why would you tell the world that? After all you are a brand and all that.
But we were thinking like brands. That is all we were doing. We forgot that JJ was actually a person, a real human being. That he spoke as a human being who has honest feelings about issues.
It is a cruel world out there it is always going to be cruel. From our chats with the young man, he is affable and hones with a very positive spirit. He is also smart and focused.
The article highlighted that it is not all roses when you leave reality TV. That the human side is pretty intense. JJ is not the first or last to go without while chasing a dream.
At 23 he still has time on his side. He will recover. He might need to change his strategy, like get a regular job while doing his music on the side until it pops off. That however is a decision only he can make.
Bles his soul though.
