NAMA Entries Up By Over 82%

The entries for next year’s 15th National Arts Merits Awards have gone up from 626 to 1104 says the National Arts Council of Zimbabwe.

The increase is up by 82.4% which is pretty fascinating.

Below is the total number of entries for the 15^th NAMA.

Some of the entries in the above NAMA categories were identified by Monitors who were appointed by NACZ and kept an eye on excelling artists throughout the year. Meanwhile a panel of independent Adjudicators is now presiding over all the submissions to select nominees as well as winners for each award.

Next year’s edition will be held on 13^th February 2016 in Harare. Nominees are out the first week of February.
