Nadia Nakai regrets turning down Winky D collabo opportunity, says she has one with Gemma though

Zimbabwean-South African rapper Nadia Nakai says she is not impressed with one major choice in her life.

When Winky D reached out for a collaboration, she turned him down.

Why? She says she was not in a good place.

Nadia revealed as much on an in an interview on The Episode podcast. It is hosted by Darryl Nyamz and Bruce.

She did say she loves Nutty O, “I have always been fan of Nutty O. His energy reminds me a lot of Gemini. They’re very bubbly.”

Nadia then also mentioned she liked Jah Prayzah and then she mentioned Winky D and that there were so many times they were supposed to do a song. The presenter then said he is tough to reach and she said, “Not he reached out to me and I was in a bad place. And when I tried to rekindle that conversation, it kinda just died.”

Here is hoping that can still happen.

She also digs Tajura, whom she met in London.

Then a biggie. Gemma Griffiths. She says that she has a song they did together which will be on Nadia’s album set for this year.

So that is exciting for sure.

She also had some love for Kikky Badass. “She is hard as fuck,” Nadia continued.
