In his four-part anthology, Chimwe neChimwe is the second chapter of Nhoroondo.
The song is a special song, a musical experience really. A lovely track to listen to and experience, full of the richness of Zimbabwe’s mellifluous history, coupled with Jah Prayzah’s sense of cultural nuance.
The video is by Vusa Blaqs Hlatshwayo, with Ratidzo Eunice Tava and Tapiwa Mavindidze continuing in their roles. There is a great combination of physical acting and deft use of facial expression.
It is a music video we enjoyed and we can’t for Chapter 3.
