MUSIC REVIEW: Caychi’s daring ‘Munhu Wemunhu’ single

Caychi delivers a track of some interesting substance on her single, Munhu Wemhnu’.

Rarely do people, except rappers, ever talk about being the other person, not least the woman.

And in a pseudo-conservative society like Zimbabwe, it is even rarer.

The song itself is an easy and not necessarily out of the lane listen. Its strength is in the writing, in which she outlines the complexity of being the other woman.

And Caychi wins in the writing in that she is not apologetic. She knows he belongs to someone else, but insists she is there and not leaving.

Yes, she pines for the off-chance that he might end up exclusive, but in reality, this is what it is.
