Morgan Heritage’s Zimbabwe gig has been cancelled.
Well… postponed to a date in the future.
Biggie Chinoperekwei of Divine Assignments who had penned the deal the Mojo Morgan from the group was quoted in NewsDay as having said that the decision was necessitated by a lack of a suitable venue.
It will mean another time of anguish for fans of the band who have been waiting for a while to see the band in Zimbabwe.
Devine Assignments says it is still committed to bringing the reggae band over because, yah hey, they better. They probably will but this is like being in a waiting room when the doctor says the missus is about top pop one kid and they tell you it was twins. Excited, waiting, and now you have to find a new name for it.
Ok not quite the same, but you have to wait all the same.
