Dj Smoove was born in Zimbabwe but grew up in Europe. He started djing at the age of 14 thanks to music crazy parents.
As a young DJ, he dreamed of himself sharing the stage with some of the industry’s major acts and this came true with the passion and dedication he put in to his work. He has DJ’ed in a vast array of countries . Think, USA, Japan, Jamaica , most of Europe namely Holland, Belgium, France, Switzerland, Spain, Germany, Russia, Croatia, Poland, Denmark, Sweden, Finland and so forth! In Africa his decks have taken him to Tanzania, Ghana, Kenya, Namibia, Mozambique, South Africa, Malawi, Morrocco, Nigeria, Botswana, Swaziland, Zambia among others.
This hip hop DJ is one of Zimbabwe’s finest DJ-ing exports, certainly one of the best of his generation.

I love ma groupies(they make it happen):)
How excited were you when the first groupie hollered at you?
I wasn’t at all chuffed because my girlfriend then went all beserk on me!!
Where is Zimbabwean music going?
Its going places now,that whole urban grooves is slowly fading paving way for better quality music.
Where is your art form going?
Djing is a culture we are yet to embrace in Africa,its going far i feel
