South Africa’s Metro FM is in mourning after news of the death of the legendary Eddie Zondi.
The news was confirmed by Station Manager Martin Vilakazi on Monday.
Zondi complained of chest pains in the morning and was rushed to hospital. Sadly, he didn’t make it to the hospital and was declared dead on arrival. He leaves behind his wife, Phakamile Zondi. He was 47.
Zondi hosted the hugely popular The Romantic Repertoire on Sundays from 3pm to 6pm, which featured RnB classics.
