Award-winning South African hip hop star Cassper Nyovest is not swayed by reports that there are people planning to target his show in Zimbabwe over the ongoing xenophobic attacks his country.
The show will be his made appearance in Bulawayo and will see him share the stage with Winky D, the Djeme Monks and upcoming hip hop hero Cal_Vin.
Now some threats made against Cassper have been rather overt, with one person saying he will go and wait for the Phumakim star at the airport to make sure he doesn’t get into the country. So essentially, be xenophobic. Well done, you pillock.
Anyway Cassper was very unequivocal about his commitment to performing in Bulawayo, saying:
I am going to Zimbabwe next week!!! I do not care who threatens me. I am going to perform for MY people!!! My African people!!! My family!!!

Weird for someone to physically threaten an artist though, especially from an artist.
Cassper himself has in the last 24-hours come out strongly against xenophobia.
