Hugh Masekela Set For Zimbabwe Performance In April

African legend Hugh Masekela will grace the second edition of the Ngoma neHosho live sessions it has been revealed.

Ngoma NeHosho head honcho Walter Wanyanya confirmed the news saying Bra Hugh would be performing in Zimbabwe this April.

This will be some time after he shares the stage with the iconic Oliver Mtukudzi at the Cape Town Jazz Festival.

As part of a quest to ask that one question a dumb reporter would ask, we well… asked why they were bringing Brah Hugh. Wanyanya said it was ‘about time’.

He remained tight-lipped (read we are embargoed) on who else would perform on the day and what date it would come.

The first LiveSessions was held last year and featured Victor Kunonga and Mokoomba as well Tariro NeGitare
