Hifa 2018 programme out and Lira, Freshlyground, Winky D, Beatenberg are on the main stage

The Harare international Festival of the Arts programme is out and it has a few trinklets.

Today we look at what the ZOL Main Stage has to offer.

Jumping straight off is Freshlyground who were dramatically deported in 2014 after a song that was critical of then president Robert Mugabe on the day they were supposed to perform.

They are on the final day at 9pm. Pencil that in.

There will be loads of interest too in Lira. We have been watching her do the damn thing on The Voice SA but having her on these shores is just mustard. She on the NetOne day which is Thursday at 7pm.

On the ZB Bank day which we call Friday in these parts, Beatenberg make a return to Zimbabwe. They were a good watch a few years ago and we expect them to be as delightful. That same day, Winky D owns the turn-up at 10pm.

On Saturday Publish The Quest are the afternoon gig, Tresor the early evening one and the main show Sonic Wonderland 3: Dance for Democracy.

For the church lovers Sunday afternoon has Zimpraise.
