Zimbabwean comedian Samantha Kureya popularly known as Gonyeti has been picked up by police from her home in Mufakose on Tuesday, her company Bustop TV has said.
The Zimbabwe Lawyers for Human Rights have since deployed emergency legal support for her after officers CID Law & Order are said to have picked her up and taken Kureya to Harare Central Police Station.
It is not clear what she is likely to be charged with.
