Femi Kuti Takes Afrobeat To Lusaka Next Week

The eldest son of Fela Kuti, Femi is in Zambia next week with his group Positive Force at Lusaka’s Barefeet Theatre.

Staking a claim as a legend of his own (hard to do after following dad like the supersize Fela), Femi will bring his energy to Lusaka on 29 August 2015 at 2pm.

As part of the festival this day will be fun-filled for the family with performances from Dance Africa (UK), a never seen before collaboration ‘Brouhaha’, between Barefeet Theatre (Zambia), Kalantura (Holland), Brouhaha (UK), Artscape (South Africa) and Cocoloco (Australia).

He also brings new material from his latest album, No Place for My Dream, which should be exciting.
