The Miss World Zimbabwe saga finally came to conclusion as the trust decided to get rid of Emily Kachote as queen over the whole nudes thing, a report says.
After seemingly dodging the issue for weeks, the Trust decided to go by the letter of the law which states that winners must never have taken pictures of themselves nude really.
The statement which we have not seen but is quoted by state media reportedly makes reference to comments attributed to Kachote in the same publication said to be admitting she had nude pictures taken of her.
First princess Annie Grace Mutambu takes over as queen now apparently.
If true, it is another dramatic end to a reign that was again mired in controversy after last year’s farce.
As was the issue in 2014, we still have not seen the images which were said originally to have gone wild on social media.
Independent confirmation of the decision could not be obtained as our attempts to get further comment from the trust were unfruitful.
