Zimbabwe jazz sensation Dudu Manhenga has been granted bail by the court pending her appeal against sentencing over culpable homicide.
Manhenga was granted US$200 bail and ordered to surrender her travel documents and to stay her place of residence until the matter is resolved.
Manhenga was sentenced to 2 years in prison, 6 months of which were suspended, 2 weeks ago after she pleaded guilty on her own plea of knocking down a m0torcyclist, Graham Martin Millward, 3 years ago and killing him.
She was also found to have been driving without a valid license. For that she was fined $300 or 3 months in prison.
