DStv has announced a few channel changes which it says are ‘part of efforts to streamline and sharpen channels in order to enhance DStv subscribers’ viewing experience’.
First of all there is a new feel-good movie channel M-Net Movies Smile (DStv Channel 105). A revamped M-Net Movies Showcase moves to 107 from 108. M-Net Movies Preimiere moves to 104 from 103. Vuzu Amp is taking 103.
M-Net Movies Comedy (DStv channel 104), M-Net Movies Family (DStv channel 105) and M-Net Movies Romance (DStv channel 107) will no longer exist. M-Net Movies Smile and Showcase will take over content from these three channels.
M-Net Movies Stars will now be available for Compact Plus and Compact packages.
And in High Definition news M-Net City (DStv channel 115) and M-Net Movies Action (DStv channel 110) will now simulcast in the picture perfect quality.
Changes come into effect 1 July 2016.
As long as Edge remains at 102 we’re happy.
