Murder-accused Star FM presenter DJ Munya Milimo has been removed from remand.
This came after the state failed to indict to Milimo along with two other accused Taurai Jani and Mohammed Matare on charges of masterminding the kidnapping and killing of Tinashe Magorimbo in 2013.
Magistrate Milton Serima says the case will now have to proceed by way of summons.
The state has been struggling to put a case together against Milimo. Toxicology results was the most recent reason for postponement and it seems as if there is no progress on that front.
The prosecution has been accused of failing to come up a May 11 trial date but it was described as fake by Serima saying proper procedures had not been followed.
With all this bungling it is worrying because everyone involved needs closure on this matter.
