DJ Chilli Back At Work

Popular radio DJ Hazvinei ‘DJ Chilli’ Sakarombe is back on the airwaves after her suspension earlier this year.

Her suspension came over the use of a Wikipedia entry that spoke of President Robert Mugabe’s Malawian roots.

Chilli is now back at Power FM and according to the Daily News it is down to the mercy of His Excellency.

Star FM presenter  Nonkululeko ‘Black Bird’ Vundla  is believed to be off the hook as well but is yet to return to work. The rapper’s situation may be a little more complicated because her slot has now been taken over by a new voice Kush on the breakfast show.

Good to see that common sense won at the end of the day but baffling that it even warranted a suspension in the first place.
